Some days feel goofed. I have a routine of breathing and meditation before walking out the door, which grounds me in peaceful awareness. Except on the days when I feel out of kilter with the world: I’m marching on my left foot and everyone else is marching on the right. I work with teenagers, and this can happen more often than I would like.

I do the-next-right-thing and sharpen my awareness of what’s going on around me. More will be revealed . . . So, I wait and watch and keep marching. I reach out to people and connect. If I stay in my own brain, it’s  like trying to be my own dentist. Not effective!

Talking things out with someone else may offer no solutions, nevertheless, we’ve had some laughs and shared experiences. On those days, it is enough for me. And, more importantly, I am enough for me. “I am worthy of life” is the message I choose to believe.
